As an output from this work, an interactive map has been created, which illustrates the varying levels of subsidy required per home across England.

This interactive map shows the level of financial support (subsidy) needed to make social rent homes viable across England. It brings complex data to life, helping you see how costs vary by location and property type.

How to use it:

The map is based on detailed financial modelling from the Making Social rent Homes Viable report. It’s designed to help local authorities, housing providers, and anyone interested in housing policy make evidence-based decisions.
